Sweater Stone is a natural pumice which has the unique ability to remove pilling from knits with each sharp edge of a broken cell. It actually cuts the filament that holds the pill to the garment while the cell breaks off, removing pilling and restoring the nap on fabrics.
Pilling commonly occurs on a fabric when fibers that are worked loose by rubbing, form little balls. The pills don’t fall off because they are held to the fabric by the fibers that still hold firm. Loosely woven and knitted synthetics and blends are the typical candidates for pilling. Usually, it’s the stronger synthetic fibers that hold the pill to the surface. Pilling can happen to clothes, blankets, and upholstery fabrics. However, sweaters seem especially vulnerable.

I only bring this up because it HAS happened several times recently.  I ship RIGHT AWAY so do not buy and then send me a message about the address an hour or more after the sale (even a few minutes can do it sometimes if it is after 12pm EST).  Most of the time, someone purchases at say noon (current Eastern Time – Standard or Daylight) and then realizes (about 2 or 3 pm) that they had the wrong address and send me a message.  That’s fine, but the package has already gone out, so MAKE SURE YOUR eBay & PayPal addresses are up to date and that you select the right one if you have multiples or get the message to me by noon current Eastern Time.  You can add a school or vacation address to both eBay and PayPal and make sure you select the right one at check out.
